It's quite a process to turn a bamboo pole into the split bamboo canes we supply to our customers. It all starts, of course, with the cutting of the bamboo poles on the hills in China. Then the bamboo poles are cut to the right size. And as a finishing touch, the poles are dyed and treated with a fungicide if necessary. With the fungicide treatment developed by ourselves, split bamboo is much more resistant to moisture and can be used for a range of vegetable plants and outdoor plants. In addition, treated split bamboo not attractive to plant-threatening insects. Once the canes are approved for quality they then leave for transport to our customers. Where they provide many wonderful plants with strength to grow even further.
Our split bamboo is solid, light and has a life span commensurate with the plant's requirement. Virtually all split bamboo is round, but we can also supply square split bamboo (with or without husk)!
